Satanic Music!
Your'e going to love this! Here is a collection of some
of my favorite Satanic Bands and Occcult Music. Instead of just
providing a list, I have taken the time to write a review
of each band. Here are the bands that I have reviewed so far, the
greatest satanic rock music of all time:
ACHERON MORBID ANGEL DIMMU BORGIR LORD BELIAL
One of the most satanic bands of all time is the band known as Acheron. In fact this band used to be the Church of Satan's offical metal band. Acheron was formed in Tampa Florida,
in 1988 by the man known as Reverend Vincent Crowley. This band also lead a group of people involved in satanism, called the Order of the Evil Eye. This order has long since disbanded but the music of Acheron lives on to this day.
Acheron is a metal band and their guitarist is great. There are melodic guitar solos and growling vocals that give a great tribute to Satanism. They have a good, classic metal sound with heavy riffs. They were a big part of the early 90's movement of Satanism and they have created one of the greatest satanic influences in rock music. They have produced nine albums so far and they have inspired many people in the Left Hand Path. The vocalist and songwriter is Reverend Vincent Crowley. The other current band members are Kyle Severn [drums], Max Otworth[guitars] and Jayson Phillips[guitar].
Their music is mostly based on Satanic Philosophy, both theistic and atheistic. One of their greatest songs is "Prayer of Hell" [Satanic Victory, 1992] which is like a Satanic Version of the Lord's Prayer with driven beats and excellent guitar! In the vidoe below you can hear a great classical satanic audio clip of Acheron performing live!

Morbid Angel is a death metal band from Florida that formed back in 1983. they have had over six albums and their music is known all around the world. The current lineup is Trey Azagthoth - [lead guitar, vocals] Pete Sandoval [drums] and David Vincent [Vocals, bass guitar].Morbid Angel sets the standard for metal and a lot of bands have tried to emulate their style. What I like about Morbid Angel is the awesome guitar solos, and the writing style of the lyrics.
The guitarist, Trey Azagthoth is beyond excellent and his technical skill shows in every song, even in the earlier works that this band has released. What I like about this band is that, for me it is perfect for meditation music. You will find that all of the subjects that this band sings/writes about are related to satanism.
What was really interesting about this band is that they have had six albums, and each album had been titled in alphabetical order, the 6th album's acronym being FFF or as any satanists knows, FFF is translated as 666. This bit of "occult" knowledge only came to me after I had had a few of their Cd's for a while, and I realized the meaning in their system of album names and numbering.
If you are like me, you like to use music as a tool during ritual magick. The use of music during ritual is a common practice in many belief systems. Morbid angel has effectively used their music as a channel for focusing the self. For instance, their album Domination [1995] is based primarily on Satanic Dominance of the world, elitism, and the ending of the Christian reign on society.
This can best be felt with their song, "Dawn of the Angry" which makes a great song for focusing the energy and will for black magick. Another great song, for example, is the song from the "Gateways to Annihilation" CD called, "I"..which describes the process of reaching inner Divinity through the true will.
Another awesome song from this album is called "Summoning Kawazu". Incidentally, the god Kawazu was called the "Frog god" and you can hear the sounds of frogs in the background that lead into the song. This song is literally the summoning of a god, and you can feel the energy and emotion involved in this. Its not just good metal, it has a metaphysical meaning behind the words and Morbid Angel really takes you on a journey.
I saw this band live back in 2004, [the Heretic Tour] and I must say, that they sounded great, I was impressed. To me that is the true test, if a band can sound as good live as they do in the studio then Im really happy. Nothing compares to Morbid Angel!!

Dimmu Borgir, [pronounced Dim-moo-bore-gear] is an excellent band from Norway. The name came from the Icelandic/old Norse word "dimmuborgir" meaning "Dark Cities".
The band members are Shagrath, who does the vocals, Sven Atle Kopperud who plays guitar, and 0yvind Mustaparta who plays the keyboard. They lead the Norway black metal scene with thier melodic satanic and dark music since 1993. They use symphonic melodies blended with
black metal and the result is incredible!
I love to use their music in the ritual chamber, before ritual - as the music and sounds add a dark element to the environment. The guitar mixes with the sounds of the symphony and it sounds great! Dimmu Borgir has several albums but my favorite albums are "Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia", released in 2001, and "Death Cult Armageddon" which was released in 2003.
Dimmu has put out a new album in 2007, called In Sorte Diaboli. If you can find the special edition version, it comes with a boxed case DVD, backwards lyrics and a mirror. The success of thier new album made this band the first in their country with a number one hit album. Dimmu does go on tour but, alas I have yet to hear of a U.S. tour date in the works.

Lord Belial is one of my favorite black metal bands to rock out to! I listen to them
almost every day. They are originally from Sweden and they formed in 1992. Some of their
older work is mostly with Swedish vocals..But their new music such as
their Cd's The Seal of Belial [2004] Nocturnal Beast [2005] and the new
album, Revelation [2007] have several tracks with english lyrics.
The lead singer, Thomas Backelin who plays guitar and sings vocals has a distictive, almost demonic sound and his voice is very unique. The other members of the band are Thomas's brothers, who are Anders Backelin[Bass], and Micke Backelin [drums] and Niclas Anderson who plays the Lead Guitars. The words in their music speak of magick, darkness and anti-religious themes. Lord Belial is the classic, Black Swedish Metal sound.
My Favorite song from this band is "The Mark of the Beast" and you can see their video below; and I also love the title Track from the Seal of Belial - its one of my new favorite songs this year. If you like heavy riffs, and deep vocals this band will no doubt take you over the edge.
This band has made a wonderful tribute to Belial with their music. With the combination of powerful lyrics, great vocals and superb guitar this band is one of the darkest ever. This band belongs in your cd player when you are ready to hear dark music. They truly deserve to be called Black Metal!
