The use of Ouija or Pendulum
It is not advised, while using the technique of of summoning, to use devices like a pendulum or an automatic writing device. The main reason is that these devices, as handy as they may seem, are really useless or potentially dangerous when used incorrectly or for the wrong things. There are many devices like this, which try to produce evidence of the spirit world, from writing devices to pointers or swinging devices that are supposedly moved by spiritual beings. I am going to explain with this article why such devices are not good for your development or training as a psychic or as a summoner.
The pendulum is a plumb-weight attached to a string or a chain. The person using it for divination or spirit contact, holds it and it moves by itself- supposedly due to the spirit. It can be used to swing back and forth in response to yes or no questions, or it can also be used as a pointer that spells out letters on a board.
It is said that the pendulum moves due to the minute movements that are subconsciously created. Which leads us to an interesting point; that some magickans or mystics use them to gage energy when reading the chakras. Using a pendulum for a practice like this is fine; but when you are trying to have clear communication with spirits and beings,
a pendulum is not good enough. To speak with beings, psychically, one has to develop their mind with methods of psychic communication. A swinging pendulum is but a waste of time and effort.
The Ouija board, a game sold by Parker Brothers is a board and a planchette which moves to letters on the board to spell words. The Planchette is also used for automatic writing and channeling. The Ouija is sold as a toy but it is an even more dangerous item for people to use when it is being used with the intent to call spirits. Through my studies and experiences, people who use Ouija boards to summon beings are not psychically developed enough to understand the reactions.
They try to use a device like this to compensate for their lack of skill. The chances
of a person actually contacting something are very slim, and not only that , the kinds of beings in the astral that respond to Ouija summoners are often mischievous, misleading, energy stealing astral beings. These beings will often try to get people to return, to
summon them again.
An addiction develops when the person thinks that they have made contact with a being. Ouija, in this case can be very addictive, the abuser using it for extended periods of time. The trouble is, that the being summoned, is either a manifestation of that persons thought ( a created thought form) or it is some lower astral creature looking for a lunch(energy fed as fear or emotion). The person using the Ouija, who is not trained in the use of the subconscious, does not understand the process of why and how it works.
Also, a person using a Ouija board to summon is very inexperienced with psychic technique and is likely to be taken advantage of, either by his own mind or by some creature.
The creatures in the lower astral are either forms of people who have died or they are creatures whose origins are unknown. The human forms trapped in the astral either died a violent death or want to stay here for some reason. Its a wonderful opportunity when some dumb kid goes and summons their energy; and then ACTS on what the spirits tell him. That is how the relationship is fed and maintained; the being in the astral gets the person using the Ouija to act on their behalf, in the physical world. These creatures feed off energies and ideas. They aren't even really sentient; they act on the impulse of energies.
However, there have been recorded cases of mediums who are able to contact people who have died. I have great respect for those who are on a genuine path and treat items like these as a tool.
My advice; avoid the uses of pedulum and Ouija altogether. They are a waste of time and really are of no use. Your greatest (and only) tool is your mind. So; development of your psychic abilities using only your mind isolates you and your purpose down to one singular point- Contact, command and communication with entities.
