Commercial PaintersIntex Coating is seeking motivated Commercial Painters. In this role, you will be responsible for surface preparation, coating applications, quality control, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working on commercial, industrial, hospitality, entertainment, or themed construction projects.Surface PreparationPrepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, filling, masking, and primingProtect surrounding areas and materials from overspray and paint damageEnsure surfaces meet project specifications prior to coating applicationPainting & Coating ApplicationApply paints, stains, varnishes, sealants, and specialty coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipmentMix and match paint colors and finishes according to project requirementsApply coatings evenly while maintaining quality and productivity standardsPerform touch-ups and final detailing as requiredQuality ControlInspect completed work to ensure proper coverage, appearance, and adherence to specificationsIdentify and correct deficiencies before project completionMaintain company standards for craftsmanship and customer satisfactionEquipment & SafetySafely operate and maintain painting equipment, including: Airless and conventional spray equipmentScaffoldingLaddersAerial liftsFollow all OSHA regulations and company safety proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work areaTeam CollaborationWork effectively with supervisors, project managers, contractors, and fellow team membersAssist in meeting project schedules and deadlinesCommunicate project challenges and solutions proactivelyWhat You'll BringRequiredMinimum 3–5 years of commercial or industrial painting experienceStrong knowledge of surface preparation methods and coating applicationsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specificationsKnowledge of painting safety procedures and best practicesValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to work night shifts as requiredAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the shiftPreferredBilingual (English/Spanish)Experience with themed environments or specialty finishesExperience with: Epoxy coatingsIntumescent coatingsElectrostatic paintingLead-Safe CertificationAerial Lift CertificationPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and reach for extended periodsAbility to work at heights using ladders, scaffolds, and liftsAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsWorking with our CompanyFounded in 2009, Intex has grown from a 3-person team to more than 150 professionals serving commercial, industrial, and multifamily clients throughout Central Florida.
