With the opportunity to support a growing investment platform and its next fund launch, this role offers significant ownership and visibility across the firm’s fund accounting and finance operations. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone ready to step into a true Controller-level position, broaden their technical expertise, and take on greater responsibility as the firm continues to scale.Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will oversee fund and management company accounting while partnering closely with senior leadership, Legal, Investor Relations, and other internal teams. This is a highly visible role with broad exposure across the platform and significant opportunity to shape processes as the firm continues to grow.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee fund and management company accounting, financial reporting, and related operationsPartner with the CFO and senior leadership on accounting, valuation, and financial mattersSupport investor reporting, LP inquiries, and operational due diligenceResearch complex accounting issues and develop practical solutionsCollaborate with the front office and gain exposure to the valuation processMentor and eventually manage the Accounting Manager and Senior AccountantHelp enhance processes and controls as the firm launches its next fundRequirements12+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally across private equity fund and management company accountingPrivate equity experience strongly preferred; venture capital or credit backgrounds also consideredTax experience is a plus, but not requiredHands-on, analytical approach with strong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills and confidence interacting with senior executives and LPsComfortable working in a small, fast-paced environment with broad responsibilities.For additional information or questions about this opportunity, feel free to reach out to Jennifer Fukumae via email or LinkedIn.Job typePerm
