Job Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Counsel to join its Family Law Practice Group in Kalamazoo, MI. Duties Represent clients in domestic relations matters, including divorce and child custody. Appear at hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences. Draft pleadings and motions, and conduct legal research. Negotiate settlements and manage discovery. Provide compassionate counsel to clients. Assist with basic estate planning and trust matters. Requirements At least 3 years of litigation experience. Strong written and oral advocacy skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities. Admission to the State Bar of Michigan or eligibility to become licensed. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Michigan.
