CVS Health – Non‑US Accredited Foreign Graduate Program Job Purpose and Summary As a Non‑US Accredited Foreign Graduate, you will support CVS Health’s mission to improve access, lower costs, and enhance the quality of care. You will complete a 18‑month US internship, gaining expertise in patient care, practice management, leadership, and education in order to qualify for pharmacist licensure within 120 days of internship completion. Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities Customer Service Greet customers courteously in-store and at the drive‑through. Answer phones and address customer questions. Process approved register transactions and bag merchandise. Create personalized moments to enhance customer satisfaction. Regulatory Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and company standards. Comply with all federal, state, and CVS policy requirements. Meet state and federal licensure requirements within the designated timeframe. Pharmacy Operations Adhere to CVS workflow and pharmacy standards. Process and label prescriptions, resolve rejections, and manage inventory. Perform additional health–care services as authorized (e.g., point‑of‑care testing, immunizations). Support the supervising pharmacist in dispensing and compliance monitoring. Counseling under Direct Supervision Offer counsel and direct customers to the pharmacist when needed. Field medical questions and communicate with health professionals. Gather medical history to provide appropriate advice. Practice tasks performed by pharmacists in accordance with law. Leadership Communicate with field management and corporate as required. Participate in store operational meetings and training sessions. Support scheduling and training development for pharmacy support staff. Recognize and celebrate colleague success. Education High School Diploma or GED Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent from a Non‑US accredited pharmacy school Active Pharmacy Intern license in the state where the location is situated Preferred Education Eligibility to immunize Prior Relevant Work Experience Required: 0 to 3 years Preferred: 3 to 5 years Essential Qualifications & Functions Foreign Graduate from a Non‑US accredited pharmacy (pre‑program) Pharmacist licensure in the state of employment within 120 days of US Intern hour completion. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to meet attendance requirements including nights and weekends. Capability to lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently.
