Compensation • Pay starts at $23/hour for new recruits and increases as you advance to the apprentice level and then to the rank of glazier and beyond • Overtime is offered when available • Safety bonuses, performance bonuses, tool buys, zero-cost health insurance, zero-interest hardship loans, incentivized savings plans, 401(k) matching, and annual raises are some of the key benefits available Responsibilities: • Glaziers measure, fabricate, and install glass shower enclosures, mirrors, railing systems, aluminum storefronts, and other glass products • Glaziers are required to interface with customers, troubleshoot, and problem-solve • Glazier uses carpentry skills to create beautiful finished products Qualifications: • Candidates must possess a minimum level of mechanical aptitude that includes the ability to read a tape measure, use hand tools, and understand written and verbal instructions • The job requires adding and subtracting fractions to determine glass sizes and opening sizes • Candidates must be able to carry up to 80 lbs • Applicants must have a valid driver's license and must be able to drive a vehicle • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening • Applicants must be willing to work hard and work overtime (a few hours a week when necessary) Compensation: $23 - $37 hourly
