Job Description

Title: Paralegal (Contracts)

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Your new company

Join a global leader in medical devices that helps people see brilliantly through innovative surgical technologies and vision-care products used by patients and eye care professionals around the world. You’ll be part of an organization with deep heritage, meaningful purpose, and a real-world impact on quality of life.

About the job

This is a paralegal role inside a Commercial Legal Services team ideal for someone who loves precision, thrives on pace, and enjoys being the person who keeps contracts moving.

You’ll be assigned contract requests through internal systems and will own your queue end-to-end drafting, reviewing, and managing agreements in a contract management environment. You’ll also triage key terms (legal, financial, tax, risk, etc.) for review by the right subject matter experts, and you’ll support attorneys during negotiations by managing follow-ups, coordinating calls with vendors, and suggesting practical options based on prior experience (without being expected to “make legal decisions”).

What you’ll do (day-to-day):

  • Draft, review, and manage assigned contracts within the contract management system.
  • Identify legal/financial/risk/tax terms needing SME input and route accordingly.
  • Support attorneys by managing negotiation flow: queues, follow-ups, and vendor call coordination.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and help educate on contract-related topics and process.
  • Collaborate with the wider Commercial Legal Services team; deliver work aligned to company values/behaviors.

Work setup:

  • Onsite 5 days/week (with a summer Friday WFH option in June–August, depending on training/coverage needs).
  • Contract engagement maximum of 2 years (future FTE is possible but not guaranteed).

What you’ll need to succeed

Required:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Paralegal Certificate (a 4-year undergrad in legal studies can also align well).
  • Previous contract review experience.

What will make you stand out here:

  • A true self-starter who can manage a queue and keep work moving independently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail you check your own work (think: no typos, clean formatting, consistent outputs).
  • Comfort in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Professional, steady work history (consistency matters).

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of paralegal experience and Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Prior experience with contract drafting and contract management processes/systems.

What you get in return

This is one of those teams where culture is genuinely a selling point a respectful environment where people are treated with dignity, and you’ll work alongside experienced legal professionals (including long-tenured team members) who collaborate well and support each other.

You’ll also work from a beautiful onsite campus with standout amenities and activities, including:

  • Multiple coffee options including 2 coffee shops, and a cafeteria onsite.
  • Wellness and community programming (including mental health vendors and on-site events).
  • A state of the art onsite gym and recreational facilities (volleyball/basketball), plus yoga offerings.

And professionally: you’ll gain high-value exposure to how commercial legal teams operate inside a complex, regulated business working closely with attorneys while building contract judgment through strong process and repetition.

What you need to do next

If you’re a paralegal who loves structure, accuracy, and momentum and you want a role where you can make a real impact by keeping contracts progressing smoothly apply now .

When you apply, please include:

  • A current resume highlighting contract review exposure (even if some experience is law-firm based).
  • A short note (2–3 lines) on your approach to managing high-volume queues and how you ensure error-free work.
