Key responsibilities Investigate coverage, liability, and damages on casualty claim files involving complex issues Manage pre-suit and litigation claims with outside counsel, ensuring timely progression Maintain clear and accurate claim file documentation in compliance with state regulations Required qualifications 1-2 years minimum experience adjusting liability property claims, including bodily injury and property damage Direct experience working with attorney-represented, litigated claims Active adjuster license(s) in required states, or ability to obtain one within a defined timeframe Working knowledge of multiple state insurance laws and good faith claims handling Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills in claim settlement contexts
