We are Making Sustainability Happen. As our new Mining Engineer, you will play an important role on a team whose work is essential to achieving this goal. SLR is currently seeking a full-time Mine Planning Engineer. This position will center on open pit design, planning, and cost estimation. Responsibilities Mine planning for open pit (required) and underground (preferred) Creation of engineering and geologic drawings for reports Cost estimation and economic (DCF) modeling (preferred) Resources and reserve reporting Flexibility in supporting both engineering and geologic aspects of projects Teamwork with geologists, metallurgists, and other disciplines Provide client support and presentations Prepare operations and project estimates, schedules, and reports Engineering trade-off studies preferred, including autonomous vs conventional haulage, equipment selection, open pit vs underground operations Working @ SLR With us, there is no doubt you\'ll grow your subject-matter expertise and industry knowledge.
