Job Summary

Palisade Defense Security is seeking professional, dependable, and flexible Armed Security Officers to join our team on an on-call basis. This position is ideal for individuals seeking supplemental income, schedule flexibility, or additional security experience.

On-call officers may be assigned to cover call-offs, vacations, special events, emergency assignments, and new client contracts. Assignments may vary in location, schedule, and duration based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned locations and maintain a visible security presence.
• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure access is restricted to authorized personnel.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security concerns.
• Respond professionally to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies.
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs), incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Enforce client policies, site rules, and company procedures.
• Monitor surveillance systems and security equipment when assigned.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Assist law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.

Qualifications

• Valid Nevada PILB Armed Work Card required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Previous security, military, law enforcement, or related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Schedule Expectations

• On-call position only; hours are not guaranteed.
• Must be willing to work day, swing, graveyard, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
• Flexible availability is highly preferred.
• Assignments are offered based on client needs and operational requirements.
