The position requires interaction with a wide variety of Government and contractor personnel in a diverse, evolving, high-profile environment.RequirementsESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Use native or near-native reading and writing skills and cultural expertiseRead, triage, review, summarize and translate large amounts of data in source-languageConduct supplementary research from foreign language sources on equipment and identified technologiesProvide translation and interpretation from source language into English and vice-versaSECURITY CLEARANCE: TS/SCI clearance with polygraphQUALIFICATIONS:Native or near native reading and writing skills and cultural expertise.Bachelor’s degreeFamiliarity with tasking, data collection, legal/law and narcoticsAbility to translate into English and target languageAbility to transcribe into English and target languageExperience summarizing/GistingAdept at using terminology ManagementExperience editing, summarizing, translating, and triagingPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Translation Related ServicesBloggingQuality Control and Editing of language productsMonitoring published, online, and broadcast media to identify relevant contentWriting ReportsSubject Matter Expertise in social media, collections, and writing reportsWORK ENVIRONMENT:Monday - Friday, 0800-1700. Must be able to get along in a diverse team in a fast-paced environment with high stakes outcomes. Travel – 20%PAY RANGE: $110,000 - $160,000 a yearAscensus Global (AGI) pay range and level are general guidelines for this job. Several factors, including education, geographic location, contract labor categories, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, or market data, determine the final salary.
