Sterile Processing Technician – Surgical Services

Shift: 4x10 rotating Weekends: Required On-call: Required — 1 weekday night/week and 1 weekend/month

Requirements:

• Valid permanent California license required at time of submission
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Preferred: CRST or IAHCSMM certification
• 2 years of experience in sterile processing

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile processing and instrument/sets assembly.
• Reprocess scopes, including EGD, colonoscope, bronchoscopes, ERCP, flex sig, and urology.
• Conduct high-level disinfection and steam sterilization, including IUSS.
• Utilize aseptic technique and handle instrumentation for laparoscopic, ortho/spine, robotics, and general surgery.

Compliance / Notes:

• Max RTO is 2 weeks total; no RTO within the first 2 weeks of assignment.
• Compliance modules required: 12 hours billable + 12 hours non-billable pre-start; to be completed via designated training platform.
• Flu vaccine is required; no exemptions allowed.
