Schedule Monday – Friday Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM Location Missouri Baptist Medical Center Why You’ll Love This Role Play a critical role in patient safety and infection prevention Work alongside a supportive and skilled team Gain valuable experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment Responsibilities Assembles and processes instrument sets, trays, supplies and linen; prioritizes trays and tasks according to the surgery schedule. Utilizes and troubleshoots steam sterilizers. Follows proper techniques and procedures to ensure the integrity of the sterilization process. Disassembles, decontaminates, and processes instrumentation according to manufacturer and industry standards. Ensures instrumentation is reassembled correctly and functioning properly. BJC has determined this is a safety‑sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
