Job Description

IEP Therapy is seeking a dedicated Teacher for the Visually Impaired to join our Educational Services team within the Education, Training & E-Learning department. In this role, you will provide specialized instructional services to students with visual impairments, ensuring they receive personalized support to access the curriculum and meet their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. You will conduct functional vision and learning media assessments, develop and implement IEP goals and objectives related to vision services, and collaborate closely with classroom teachers, related service providers, families, and school administrators. Using evidence‑based strategies, you will teach braille, assistive technology, orientation and mobility concepts in collaboration with O&M specialists, and other compensatory skills that support independent learning. You will adapt classroom materials into accessible formats, including large print, audio, tactile graphics, and digital resources using assistive technologies and accessibility tools. Documentation and data‑driven decision‑making are key aspects of this position; you will monitor student progress, maintain accurate service logs, and participate in IEP meetings to share progress and make recommendations.
