Home Time: Weekly or 2 weeks out. Drivers will typically be out 1 to 2 weeks at a time, depending on where they live and what freight they are running. While they are out, their schedule will run Monday through Saturday, and they’ll get a full 34‑hour reset every Sunday. Moving Violations No more than 4 in the past 3 years No moving‑violation suspensions exceeding 3 months in the most recent 3 months, and the total suspensions/expiration cannot exceed 3 months out of the previous 15 months. Disqualifications Speeding 20+ mph over the speed limit Passing a school bus Reckless Driving Coasting out of gear Leaving the scene of an accident Violating out‑of‑service order Accidents All accidents are recorded. Non‑preventable accidents listed by an employer or PSP will not need review unless it is a fatality. Any accident with a citation in the previous 5 years is subject to Safety review. All preventable accidents within the last 3 years and all fatality accidents are subject to Safety Review. Termination Needs 6 months of safe driving after a termination for safety Felony and Misdemeanor Convictions No drug/possession charges in the last 5 years and no more than two in a lifetime No domestic charges Felony conviction will be reviewed by Safety Department DUI/DWI No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years and no more than two in a lifetime. We go by the conviction date.
