Duties for the Welder are:

• Welding & Fabrication: Perform MIG welding and metal fabrication tasks across a variety of projects, working with structural steel and pipe to produce quality welds that meet ASME Code Section 9 standards and customer specifications.
• Blueprint Reading & Fitting: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately fit, align, and assemble structural steel and pipe components, ensuring precision and quality at every stage of the fabrication process.
• Equipment Operation & Hands-On Work: Operate MIG welders, grinders, and a variety of power tools throughout the shift, performing physically demanding tasks including lifting 50+ lbs, standing, bending, and crouching in an active shop environment.

Requirements for the [job title] include:

• Welding Experience & Certifications: Prior experience as a Welder, Fabricator, Pipe Fitter, or Boilermaker required, with hands-on MIG welding and structural welding experience, trades school or ASME coursework strongly preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Must be proficient in blueprint reading and knowledgeable in structural steel and pipe fitting, specifically in accordance with ASME Code Section 9 standards.
• Physical Capability & Reliability: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs regularly and sustain physically demanding work including prolonged standing, bending, and crouching throughout the shift in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
